For anyone new around here, Welcome! We’re Samantha and Jess- the co-faces and powerhouse duo behind Hello Darlin’ Glam, a luxury hair and makeup team serving Des Moines, Central Iowa, and brides throughout Iowa.
What started as a passion for creating beautiful bridal looks has grown into something much bigger: a full-service Iowa Wedding Beauty team dedicated to making your wedding morning feel every bit as special as the rest of your wedding day.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of glamming countless Iowa brides, wedding parties, and their closest friends and family members. We’ve watched trends change, our team grow, and our brides become more and more intentional about the experience they want on their wedding day.
Meet Samantha, Founder of Hello Darlin’ Glam
Before bringing Hello Darlin’ Glam to Iowa, I spent 10 years working in the luxury wedding industry in Las Vegas.
That experience shaped the standard I built Hello Darlin’ Glam around: exceptional artistry, professionalism, and an elevated client experience.
As the founder, my passion lies in creative direction, our artist standards, services and above all, the overall experience we provide. My job is to make sure the HDG standard stays consistent- from the first inquiry to the final touch of your wedding-day glam.
Meet Jess, Our Beauty Co-Ordinator
Jess is our Beauty Co-Ordinator and the organizational babe behind HDG.
While I focus on the creative side, Jess handles the behind the scenes details that keep everything running smoothly. From your initial inquiry through your final wedding day timeline, she manages communication, logistics, scheduling, and all the moving pieces that go into a large wedding party.
And that support makes a huge difference for our artists.
Our hairstylists aren’t distracted by answering timeline questions. Our makeup artists aren’t stopping to coordinating services. And absolutely NO ONE is trying to figure out what happens next.
They can all focus on you.
Everyone arrives knowing every detail allowing them to focus on ensuring you feel like your most beautiful self.

What’s Next for HDG?
Our calendar is filling faster than we ever anticipated, so we’re expanding our roster with selective applications for elite hairstylists who want to represent the Hello Darlin’ Glam brand.
We’re also introducing Private Preview Sessions at our East Village Des Moines studio, giving brides two hours of private access to design their wedding day look with up to six of their favorite people- and champagne or dirty sodas, of course. 🥂
