Samantha launched her career in Las Vegas back in 2008, spending over a decade working with the city’s premier wedding groups. After mastering trend-setting looks and high-end product performance across 1,000+ weddings, she relocated her family to Des Moines—and instantly saw what the local industry was missing. Iowa needed a dedicated hair and makeup team entirely focused on the elevated standards of bridal beauty.
Enter Hello Darlin’ Glam. Now, five years and nearly another 1,000 local weddings later, Samantha has built Des Moines' most trusted bridal beauty name. Her deep industry knowledge takes the guesswork out of your morning prep, ensuring your bridal beauty planning is flawless, organized, and completely stress-free.

Jess is a proud girl mom, central Iowa event planner, and logistics powerhouse. After graduating from Iowa State University in 2018 with a degree in Event Management, she channeled her passion for organization into the bridal world. As our Lead Beauty Coordinator, Jess has helped thousands of brides and babes meticulously plan the most intimate details of their wedding day looks.
She is the mastermind behind the seamless timelines, inquiries, and communications that keep Hello Darlin’ Glam running flawlessly. A true multi-hyphenate wedding lover, Jess also coordinates her own weddings as the owner of CHEERS Events and perfects bridal glows as a spray tan artist with Bronze 515. It’s safe to say she is completely wedding-obsessed—and she's exactly who you want in your corner to ensure your beauty timeline goes off without a hitch.

Alexis is a licensed cosmetologist with 7 years of experience as a makeup artist. While her passion began with makeup, she discovered a deep love for bridal hairstyling and has spent the past 3 years specializing in it.
Based in Titonka, IA, Alexis serves brides throughout Northern Iowa and is available to travel to the Des Moines metro upon request. She’s known for her signature soft glam and boho-inspired updos—styles that bring texture, warmth, and intentional artistry to every look she creates. When she’s not making brides feel their best, Alexis loves spending time with her family, especially her younger siblings who always keep her on her toes.

Jessi is a professional hair and makeup artist whose journey began in cosmetology school, where she discovered her passion for bridal beauty and the art of elevating women’s natural features. What started as a love for hairstyling quickly grew into a dedicated career focused on romantic updos, Hollywood waves, soft glam, and timeless bridal looks. With a commitment to professionalism and luxury-level artistry, she ensures every client feels confident, pampered, and beautifully transformed. When she is not behind the chair, she likes to enjoy time with her husband and 4 kids. Jessi loves to travel and try a new good breakfast place.

Originally from the Midwest, she moved from small town Missouri to Des Moines, IA to pursue her passion of beauty. Now a permanent DSM resident, she enjoys spending her free time with her two fur babies, putting together a puzzle and hunting the consignment aisles for a vintage find.

Abby is a licensed cosmetologist with 10 years of experience and a true passion for bridal makeup. For the past five years, she has focused on perfecting her bridal artistry, creating looks that range from soft, natural, and timeless to full dramatic glam that turns heads.
Abby is our resident sweetheart, bringing positivity, warmth, and a calm yet cheerful energy to every appointment. When she’s not bringing brides’ makeup inspiration to life, Abby spends her time in her hair salon located in Winterset, IA, providing haircuts and color services, or enjoying the outdoors with her fur babies, Lucy & Gypsy.

Elizabeth is a certified cosmetologist and makeup artist passionate about helping clients feel confident and beautiful. With the support of my husband and five children, she returned to school later in life to pursue her dream in the beauty industry. She specializes in makeup application, focusing on enhancing each client’s natural beauty while creating a comfortable and empowering experience. Outside of work with Hello Darlin’ Glam, she is a hair color specialist at a hair salon. She also enjoys spending time with family, working out with her daughters, and exploring fashion and beauty trends.

Brianna has been in the beauty industry for 7+ years working as a licensed esthetician full time and makeup artistry on weekends. Wedding makeup is her all time favorite thing to do as it's the best feeling to help women feel their absolute best on their special day.
She loves learning new techniques and continuing to grow everyday. In her free time you'll find her hanging with her family, traveling & watching her son grow up.

Kamryn is a makeup artist and licensed esthetician based in Des Moines, IA. Inspired by her grandmother’s career, she officially turned her lifelong passion for skincare and makeup artistry into a professional calling.
While Kamryn is widely known for her soft glam technique, she equally loves creating classic full glam looks. Regardless of the style, her ultimate goal is to ensure every client leaves her chair feeling confident and beautiful. When she isn’t behind the brushes, Kamryn enjoys local coffee shops, thrifting, and fun dates with her 3 year old daughter.

Madison is a Des Moines native with beauty in her DNA—her dad was a local hairstylist for over 40 years! She began her career in 2016 as a Prestige Beauty Advisor at Ulta, later freelancing for Too Faced Cosmetics while studying at Iowa State. Now, she leads the marketing team at RE/MAX Concepts and continues to pursue her passion for makeup. Outside of work, Madison enjoys reading, snuggling with her two pups, and spending time with her husband.

Whether she’s creating soft glam or full glam, Katelyn brings high energy, calming reassurance, and plenty of hype to every appointment—because she believes everyone deserves to feel like that girl. Her goal is not only to enhance natural beauty, but to make every client feel confident, relaxed, and celebrated. When she’s not beautifying babes with the HDG team, Katelyn is a stay-at-home mama to two toddlers. In her rare quiet moments, you’ll find her chasing a good book—when she’s not chasing her kiddos.

She is now a licensed esthetician specializing in brows, with a deep love for makeup. From enhancing natural beauty to colorful, fun, full glam looks. She prides herself on bringing each client's vision to life in a way that’s uniquely tailored to them. When not slaying faces, you can catch her thrifting, crafting, or in the kitchen. Makeup is her art, brows are her specialty, and being a cat mom is her favorite title.

Amelia is a licensed hairstylist with 3 years of experience behind the chair. She grew up in a small town in Iowa, where her passion for hair began in high school while creating homecoming and prom styles.
Today, she’s a full-time hairstylist and business owner based in Ankeny. Outside of the salon, you’ll find her in cycling classes or weightlifting. One of her favorite parts of her career is building lasting connections with her brides and staying connected with their lives even years after the wedding day.

Paige is a licensed cosmetologist based in Des Moines. Her passion for hair began in high school, doing styles for homecoming and prom, and has been growing ever since. She graduated from Capri College where she developed a passion for coloring, extensions, and of course, special event styles.
Paige loves being able to make clients' visions come to life and help them to feel their best. She loves all styles, but especially a fun half-up boho look. In her free time, she loves going to concerts, spending time with friends, and spending time outdoors.

Leaha is a licensed hairstylist with 3 years of experience working in the Des Moines metro. She graduated from the AVEDA Institute where she found her love for doing hair color at her salon space, but she has recently developed a passion for bridal hair! She loves doing simple “lived-in” half-up styles and curls or a messy boho updo.
When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her cuddling up with her fur baby, Blue; spending time with family and friends, or grabbing a drink downtown.

She’s a perfectionist in all the best ways and your built-in wedding-morning hype girl — making sure your look is flawless, long-lasting, and uniquely you. When she’s not behind the chair, she is a mom of three, fueled by coffee, and currently working toward her RN degree. Tatum balances beauty, family, and big dreams — and she brings that same passion and energy to each bride she’s lucky enough to serve.
