In keeping on theme… this blog post is like 3 months over due. Like literally I don’t think I have ever written a blog post about any of my wedding styled shoots when they happened. But it is what it is… let’s dive into this perfectly themed & executed Golden Hour Intimate Iowa Wedding Shoot.
I was asked to be a part of this editorial by Karla with Honey & Joy Events. If you haven’t noticed by now.. I love her & her company, if you are looking for a planner for your Iowa wedding, big or small, SHE IS YOUR GAL.
The whole event was thought up by Kyndal of Kyndal Elise Photography . “The theme words I kept emphasizing in the planning process were boho, warm, modern, with 70s inspired undertones.” Kyndal says in her own blog post about this shoot. And I have to agree.. all the vendors involved totally NAILED it.
This was my first time working with Kyndal, and mark my words.. it will not be my last. She is absolutely brilliant. The way she captures a couple and the attention to even the littlest details, truly blows me away.
When I arrived to the location, 1868 Farmhouse in Boone, IA I was literally speechless. The venue is brand new and this was actually the first styled shoot they hosted. I had no idea of that minor detail but when I found out, I instantly felt so honored to have been invited to such a special moment for them. The grounds felt like something out of a movie. From the bridal suite to the stunning front porch… such a dream!
I think my favorite part of the shoot was The Crafty Cocktail Camper. Yea.. a bar on wheels y’all! “We renovated our mobile camper bar ”Lulu” to be the perfect addition for your next event. From weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, bridal showers or even private engagement proposals, “Lulu” creates a fun and unique atmosphere for your next gathering that will have people talking for years to come!” Abby writes on their website.
Seriously… where was this for my wedding?!
